The process
Small-Purchase Request Process

Submit the requested products or services through the Office Furniture Express RFQ form.
- 02
Identify the purchasing agency, department, location, estimated value, required date, and requested contract path.
- 03
Office Furniture Express will confirm its current certification status and determine whether the requested products or services are available through an applicable contract or procurement method.
- 04
The agency should obtain any quotations, approvals, or supporting documentation required by its procurement rules.
- 05
The agency should issue the purchase order directly to Office Furniture Express when authorized.
Procurement integrity
No Bid Splitting
A purchase must represent a legitimate, independently defined agency requirement. Neither the agency nor the supplier may divide, sequence, or otherwise structure a larger requirement into multiple smaller orders for the purpose of avoiding competition, quotation requirements, approval thresholds, contract limits, or other procurement obligations. Office Furniture Express does not assist with bid splitting, order splitting, artificial fragmentation of requirements, or any other arrangement intended to circumvent applicable procurement rules. For larger or broader requirements, the agency should consider an appropriate contract vehicle, including CMAS Contract 4-23-11-1015.
